YOUNG LEADERS AT WAVENEY GYMNASTICS
For children and young adults aged 12+ to participate in a voluntary role at the club.

As part of the Young Leaders program volunteers must commit to the following criteria:
Regular attendance is required to volunteer for a minimum of 2 consecutive hours per week, this would usually be 4-6 pm on a weekday.
Assist with a minimum of 3 events per year, this would usually be x2 club championships +1 fundraiser or club event
Attend CPD (Coaches Professional Development) this would usually be in the holidays and consist of 1-hour classroom-based activity followed by 1 hour of practical work in the gym led by senior coaches.
Keep a log of all the hours including coaching and events.
Young leaders must register for membership with British Gymnastics in order to be enrolled in the Leadership Academy.
Starting in 2023 Waveney Gymnastics have developed an initial 12 week program that all Youth Leaders will need to follow, for this pack please see coach Danny.
